A good manager knows that involvement can be a double-edged sword. While some employees require micro-management to give them a sense of structure, others need space to let creativity flourish. Getting too involved can make your team feel underappreciated and become dependent on regular intervention while taking a step back could essentially mean missed deadlines and delays.
With so many parties involved, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) experts need to actively assess where they are needed the most, when they need to monitor progress from afar and how to effectively utilize time by delegating assignments. You can’t be everywhere at once, and you shouldn’t need to be!
Is VDC needed?

VDC practices may seem like an untested phenomenon today, but they are undoubtedly the tomorrow of construction!
